Robin Shaver

Robin Shaver

As an athlete, Robin was drawn to yoga to become more flexible; she bounced around different studios and experimented with different types until she found her true passion for Ashtanga Yoga in 2005. The dynamic sequence of Ashtanga Yoga opened new dimensions of the mind-body-breath connection which led Robin to practice and study under Kathy McNames of Yoga Vermont, The Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY and David Swenson’s Advanced Teacher Training Program. Robin leads upbeat, fun yet challenging Ashtanga Vinyasa classes. She hopes to inspire her students to experience change through the flow of breath and movement and to carry a peaceful connection off their mats.

Gwen Voyer-Mcgiver

Gwen Voyer-Mcgiver

Gwen left her shiny NYC office where she worked in marketing and events to play in the Adirondack Mountains and practice yoga full time. The Mountains were calling and she finally listened as they led her straight to Lake Placid.

When she’s not in a yoga studio you can find her saying “yes” to outdoor adventure invites. Her philosophy on life is to face challenges both on and off the mat with a full heart, balanced breath and the ability to laugh at yourself.

Gwen teaches primarily Vinyasa-style yoga with a playful energetic vibe accompanied by the latests bumpin’ beats. She completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with The Brooklyn Yoga Project and is registered through the Yoga Alliance. She is inspired by love, compassion, patience, and humor.

Beth McNally

Beth McNally

Beth McNally, originally from Ohio, I moved to Saranac Lake 6 years ago and immediately fell in love with all of the beauty the Adirondacks has to offer. However, learning quickly that winters here can be challenging I was encouraged to attend a hot yoga class and was immediately hooked. From that very moment yoga set off an awakening inside of me and instantly began a series of exciting and positive changes in my life. I then decided to deepen my practice and attend yoga teacher training. I completed the course in March of 2016 through High Peaks Teacher Training 200-Hour Vinyasa Program. I am also registered with Yoga Alliance.

Lindsay Havlicek Bell

Expect to have a lot of fun with unexpected sequences, and maybe even some inversions and arm balances with appropriate modifications to support you on your yoga journey!
